| For extreme hard 3D pilots, every bit of force and speed in pitch control is appreciated and CCPM offers just that. The 120-degree CCPM is by far most popular among pilots of all levels. However, the minor interaction between fore/aft and collective motion caused by unequal arm length to the pivot line could be annoying. Here I would like to share three ways to improve it.

| One quick way to solve this problem is to use fast digital servos to make the motion differential unperceivable. That is what I did with my TREX 600 Nitro Pro. Recently I changed to three JR DS8325 digital servos which made big difference comparing with my old JR811 servos.

| If you want to set up a perfect high end hard 3D machine, I would suggest use 140 degree CCPM which offers equal arm distance to the pivot line, giving you absolute zero interaction. I did 140 CCPM with my JR Vibe 90 3D together with three Futaba 9255 servos. It feels great. The only drawback is that not all radios support 140 CCPM.

| | If you do like to use 140 CCPM swash plate setting but do not want to invest in a new radio, you can use a 120 degree CCPM setting combined with an elevator-to-pitch mix of approximately 35%. This exaggerated elevator swash mix will accomplish the same function of a 140 CCPM radio setting.
